Over 48 years in the insurance and financial services business, Glen’s greatest satisfaction is the relief and appreciation expressed when clients are experiencing some of the most difficult circumstances of their lives. His experience with “regular” people who work hard and whose goal is to provide for and protect their families, and whose relentless pursuit of information accurately informs his clients. Glen has held numerous Leadership roles in professional, civic, youth and sports organizations.
Passionate about his business, Glen is a life and qualifying member of MDRT, has guided the development of the Virginia Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Independent Insurance Agents.
A 1968 graduate of the Newport News Apprentice School, Glen is a life-long member of the Apprentice School Alumni Association and board member of the newly formed Foundation Board.
Most important to Glen is the work of the Virginia Peninsula Boys & Girls Club. As past President and life member of the corporate board, Glen’s ongoing support of club activities has continued for 38 years. He was instrumental in the merging of Boys Clubs and Girls Clubs in 1994 as well as the merging of the Virginia Peninsula and the Hampton Roads clubs in 1999.
An avid sportsman, Glen formerly officiated football and served as President on the Peninsula Football Officials Association, the Peninsula Sports Club and James River Rod and Gun Club.
Glen is the father of two sons and a daughter and grandfather of three young adults.
